Time Travel to The Future

I have never thought about treveling to the future, honestly i do not like the idea of going to the future, i think it is like to do a spoiler to myself, so i definetly prefer the idea of treveling to the past, nevertheless, if i go to the past i will go back a lot of years, when i did not born, so i can observe a lot of historic events (like met jesus, watch the French Revolution, and met Salvador Allende), but the main theme today is about the future, so i probably travel a lot of years too, hopefully thousands or millions years to the future, so i would be dead (hopefully) and i would not be able to meet myself and watch the things i will do and the things i would not do. In addition, probably in the the next million of years human wil be extinct or the sun extingishes, or even maybe this galaxy will crush against Andromeda Galaxy. I would like to stay there for a while, to be able to watch how the life and the universe is after the humanity, but seriusly speaking, if the sun extingishes i would not be able to live, because there is no oxygen anymore and the radiation will kill me in just a few seconds.
