English Language Challenges

Well, i am currently studyng my first year of Architecture in FAU, and this is my first English Class in this Career, but until now, my experience studying English has been great. But definetly the "online" factor reduce a little bit the emotion of the class, because i can´t interact in person with my classmates, instead, we interact trough a computer,so definetly could be better. Nevertheless, i consider that the blog system implemented for the class is a great and fun idea, because we learn a lot of English, specially when we have to drafting, and we do it talking about things that we like and interest.

Also i think that my biggest problem when we interacting in English is listening and understanding correctly what they tell me, specially when i talk to a native English speaker. At least, when i have to talk in English is very easy to me, i do not know why but when i have to "verbalize" the thoughts in my head i do it almost automatically.

On the other hand, Outside the English classes i use english very frecuantly, mainly for playing videogames in that languaje, viewing audiovisual content in platforms like Youtube, Netflix, HBO max, etc. sometimes i use subtitles, but for the Youtube videos i try to see them without the subtitles to learn a bit. But at the moment of listening to music, it is when i mainly listen to English Content, Singers or Groups like The Weeknd, Kanye West, Dua Lipa, Daft Punk, Tevvez, Coldplay and Sia are my favorites English Artists.
